Movie Monday Recap

It's good. Some cute stuff and interesting back story. Annoyed his family angle wasn't explored more. I've been told they were probably saving that for the sequel.
Cute movie.
Robin Williams. This is one of our family favorites.
Eh. Daughter said it has to be the worst animated movie released in a theater.

Movie Monday Recap

I've watched this movie 4 times this week and I am not what you'd call a race car movie fan. Seriously, I love this movie. I'm not sure why except I love the dynamic between the characters.
Robin Williams. Need I say more?
Wonderful drama. Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson are wonderful.
Just couldn't get into it. So tired of the reliance of CGI to tell stories in these large movies. Plus, Noah was not likeable, would have been happy for him to be washed away in the flood.
I can't really think of much positive to say about this movie - except I think most of the actors did try.
Not sure what I think. I didn't particularly like it, but I wouldn't say it was bad.

Monday Movie Recap

Creepy for sure. I had to cover my eyes in some parts (grossness factor). Acting is great. And boy was I surprised by the ending.
LOVE THIS MOVIE. Tom Hanks is great as the OCD cop and Hooch is his perfect foil.
You have to watch this movie! One of Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline's best. Some of the best dialogue in a romcom.
HILARIOUS! Finally saw it from start to finish (caught the end once and wasn't impressed) with my mom. So funny. I laughed so hard I cried multiple times.
A gem of an animated film. Like to rewatch here and there. Lots of laughs and clever.
Kids like it. But I've never been that fond of it. There are laughs here and there, but I feel they missed something with this one.
Cute 80s flick. Tom Selleck shines in his scenes with the baby and the grocery store.

$10.00 Amazon eGift Card

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones you least expect.

When LA Times journalist Zola Mitchell decides to head home to San Francisco in December, it's to write a piece on the legendary Alcatraz prison. It has nothing to do with her high school crush Oliver Tworek, who's recently moved back to start up a tour boat business to The Rock. At least, that's what she keeps telling herself.

But when Oliver asks her to dinner, Zola can't refuse. And when he kisses her under a display of Christmas fireworks from aboard his boat, she can barely remember her own name.

After twenty years, nothing seems to have changed. Oliver's still popular and gorgeous, and Zola's still…well, Zola. Behind the successful job, and underneath her shiny, new grown-up exterior, Zola still feels like the skinny girl from junior year English class. Will she ever be able to conquer those insecurities? And more importantly, will she ever get to know the real Oliver—the one who might just have a few secrets of his own?

Kaylie Newell lives at the base of the mountains in Southern Oregon with her husband, two little girls, two cats, and a mutt named Pedro who goes everywhere with her. When she isn’t writing, she’s usually watching a Channing Tatum movie or eating frozen waffles, or both.

Movie Monday Recap

Hysterical in the beginning, a little slow through the middle, but with a good ending. Billy Crystal and Daniel Stern are great.
Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon are adorable in this RomCom together. A great movie date movie or one just for you when you want a good laugh.
I LOVE this movie. For the newbie, it can be confusing, you have to pay close attention due to the time jumps (with no warning). But the story and performances are wonderful.
Strange, but good. Christina Ricci is suitably creepy as Lizzie Borden.
The brat pack. Or at least some of them. Though I can't watch without wondering which of his co-stars Rob Lowe slept with.
Plot was a tad weak. Though the two leads did a credible job.
It was okay. Really liked Ethan Embry and wish his character had more to do. Think the originally ending might have been better.
Hmmm. Not great, but not bad either. I did laugh when Josh's character turned his car on and the theme song to Dawson's Creek came on. Cheap laugh, but funny. That song will follow him forever.
