What was the spark or initial idea that started your book? 

I always wanted to do a romantic comedy. As a child Bewitched was my favorite show so I have had this story line brewing for over a year. being a Fire Fighter , I am asked a lot "When are you going to do a book with a FF? probably only this once, but never say never...

What was your favorite part of writing this book? 

the interaction between Emma and her cats.

What is your favorite line from your book?

It's a scene.
Midnight stood up on his hind legs and tried to get the doorknob in his paws. He almost had it opened when the knob slipped. Drat… what can I change myself into that would open the door? Mika stood looking at the problem. Midnight thought he was the only one with the brains. She was hungry and Emma was sleeping far too late. She always called them her flying monkeys… I have it… a monkey, a fly…
