By: Anne Marsh
Releasing September 2014

Discover New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Anne Marsh’s sexy Blue Moon Brides series! This boxed set includes the first three Blue Moon Brides books: TEMPTED BY THE PACK, PLEASURED BY THE PACK and CLAIMED BY THE PACK.

Once in a blue moon… the Pack hunts for mates.

For Rafer Breaux, life in the Louisiana Bayou is harsh, violent—and deeply sensual. The Cajun werewolf lives for his Pack and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep his brothers safe. The longer a wolf lives without a mate, the harder it becomes for that wolf to shift back. To remember that he is a man—and not a monster. And those mates can only be found during a blue moon. When a blue moon finally rises, Rafer will need every weapon in his sensual arsenal to tempt one special woman into his arms and the heart of the Pack.

Fighting to keep her family farm, Lark Andrews isn’t looking for love. Even if the very sexy Breaux brothers make her dream of hot bayou nights spent in their arms. When the blue moon leads Rafer to her door, however, Rafer has her rethinking her position on all work and no play. Now, the bayou nights are heating up as Rafer fights to convince her, one sensual touch at a time, to give love and passion a chance. But Rafer isn’t a one wolf deal. Is there room in Lark’s heart—and bed—for Rafer and his Pack?

Dre and Landry Breaux do everything together. Fishing, fighting—and loving. A whole lot of loving. When the blue moon leads these Cajun werewolves to their fated mate, however, they’re ready to reform. Now, they’ll fight to keep the woman of their dreams safe from the evils lurking in the Louisiana bayou—and to tempt her into taking a chance on two of the bayou’s sexiest bad boys.

Mary Jane Johnson is no heartbreaker. Running from a troubled past, the bayou captain wants only to be left alone. When she takes a pair of bayou bad boys on board, however, Dre and Landry have her rethinking her need for space. These two big males have promised to take orders—all of her orders. Suddenly, she’s dreaming of getting as close as possible… to both of the Breaux brothers.

Alpha to the bone, Cajun shifter Dag Breaux must find his Blue Moon bride to preserve his humanity. Each passing day sees him lost further and further in the shift, more wolf than man. Emotions and feelings are foreign territory for Dag and all he has to offer his newfound female is raw, passionate sex and protection from the centuries-old vampire stalking the Louisiana bayou.

Bayou mechanic Riley Jones stands on her own two feet. Always. She doesn’t need or want Dag’s infuriating brand of protection. Plus, she has secrets of her own that she’s desperate to keep. But there’s no denying the passion that burns between them and in the arms of her rough and tough shifter she discovers a darkly sensuous, no-holds-barred loving. When the vampire threatens Riley’s nearest and dearest, she must ask herself if resisting Dag’s mate claim is worth losing everything she cares about… or if teaching her wolf to love is worth the risk.

Q&A and #Giveaway - Emma Bewster: Too Hot to Handle by Mary Moriarty

Emma Brewster: Too Hot to Handle
by Mary Moriarty
Releasing Oct 25th, 2014
Self Published

Q&A with Mary

What was the spark or initial idea that started your book?

I always wanted to do a romantic comedy. As a child Bewitched was my favorite show so I have had this story line brewing for over a year. being a Fire Fighter , I am asked a lot "When are you going to do a book with a FF? probably only this once, but never say never...

What was your favorite part of writing this book?

the interaction between Emma and her cats.

What is your favorite line from your book?

It's a scene.
Midnight stood up on his hind legs and tried to get the doorknob in his paws. He almost had it opened when the knob slipped. Drat… what can I change myself into that would open the door?
Mika stood looking at the problem. Midnight thought he was the only one with the brains. She was hungry and Emma was sleeping far too late. She always called them her flying monkeys… I have it… a monkey, a flying monkey.
Midnight looked over at his fellow familiar and thought, she does have brains after all. He smiled at her, turned and went to the other end of the hallway. He started waking slowly and by the time he got up to Mika had changed.
Well, you certainly look the part of her evil flying monkey…   Mika laughed.
Midnight walked to the bathroom and, jumping up on the sink, he could see that he had indeed changed into a flying monkey.
Just make sure you change before you let them see you… You may do some damage if he sees you. Mika said.
Midnight turned and gave Mika one of his looks.  What do you take me for? Of course I will change, once I am in there.
He jumped down and headed back to Emma’s bedroom door. He grasped the door and loved the feeling of the knob in his hands. This wasn’t bad… it would be nice to be more like a human… maybe I will stay this way for a while.
Mika looked at Midnight like he was nuts.  You can’t… it’s one thing to be her familiar, as a cat or in other forms when she is around alone but you know she would have a fit if we appeared like anything else than what we are supposed to be.
Midnight gave her a contemptuous look and pushed the door open.
They both stood there and saw the bed move.
Mika swatted at Midnight. Come back, you fool. She will kill us if he finds out about her and us before she wants him to.
Midnight swished his monkey tail and made a sound that sounded like tsk, tsk, tsk.
Cas had turned over and felt Emma turn with him. They had slept in the spoon form all night. He had been conscious of their movements all night, enjoying the feel of her body molded to his. He laid there for a few minutes and then heard one of the cats meow. He lazily opened his eyes and saw the Torti and she was meowing up a storm. Then he caught site of a … flying monkey? He lay there. Both Mika and the flying monkey stood where they were, frozen. He blinked his eyes and then figured he was still sleeping.  What the hell. He was probably dreaming of a flying monkey cause of Old Miss Crabtree and her accusations of Emma being a witch…  he sighed and turned his back and felt Emma turn back so she nestled herself right back into him. He could sleep like this forever if Emma was at his side.
Mika swatted Midnight again. Do you see how close you came… you will ruin it for her. Change back right now.
Midnight turned his head away from Mika. What a spoil sport. I will change when I am good and ready.
Emma slowly started to wake. The room was awash with the morning light. She felt Cas’s arm over her. She smiled. Then she heard what must have woken her. Her cats were meowing and they were in her room. Then her brain came awake. She had shut the door, how did they get in?
She moved Cas’s arm and slowly sat up. She almost screamed. There on her bed was Midnight, all black and as a flying monkey. Mika was next to him admonishing him. She threw out her arm and changed him back into a cat.
“Midnight Brewster, keep it up and you won’t be my familiar any more… Now listen to Mika and get out!”
Midnight looked at his paw, which was a cat’s paw again. He jumped down in disgust.” I can never have any fun.”
He walked out of the room.
Mika looked at her mistress. “I am sorry, Emma.”
Emma reached and patted her cat. “It’s okay. Just keep an eye on him.”
If your book was made into a movie and you got to design the movie poster, what would the tagline say?
Emma Brewster: Too Hot to Handle. Cadwell Harbor Maine will never see another quiet Halloween again... If Emma and Cas have anything to do with it!

Emma Brewster comes from a long line of Brewster witches and she is not only a witch but a fire-starter witch. She is supposed to be able to control that element but so far she can’t control much of anything when she comes in contact with a handsome man.

Now why is she always bumping into that new, handsome man who just so happens to be a Fire Fighter. She has taken to wearing colored contacts and sunglasses, even on cloudy days so her eyes don’t see him that clearly… but he always seems to be around. Boy is he hot… and oh drats there goes another fire cropping up!

Cas O’Halloran came to this supposed sleepy town to get away from the big city life, except once he bumped into that beautiful redheaded woman on that rainy morning at the bagel shop, his life has been anything but normal or low keyed. His Chief said there have been more unexplained little fires since his arrival than anytime in the history of Cadwell Harbor.

‘This once sleepy, picturesque town is constantly on fire’. So Cas wants to find out why, but he also wants to find out why of all women he is attracted to this red-head who wears sunglasses on rainy, cloudy days and if that’s not bad enough, he feels electrified and alive when he touches her.

Cadwell Harbor will never see a quiet Halloween again if Emma Brewster and Cas O’Halloran have anything to do with it. Nor will it be left standing if those two don’t settle down… one way or another.

I grew up in New England surrounded by a lot of history and story telling by my father who was from the Mid-Coast of Maine. What I remember of my mother was her love of fairy tales, the wee people and poetry. So it’s no wonder I would one day write.

When I am not writing, I read. Of course I love Romance but can’t read the same genre that I write so I read mysteries, memoirs and history… I love history, especially Medieval and WWII.

I don’t generally watch TV but I love Downton Abbey.

My favorite authors… Mmmm, well let me see. Jane Austen, the late Elizabeth Peters, LM Montgomery, Loretta Chase, J.R.Ward , Sharon Kay Penman and Pamela Kaufman to name a few that come to mind.

What do I do when I am not writing? I am a mother of seven, four still at home. I have a home filled with pets, four dogs and six cats. I write seven days a week.

Chapter 1

Cas O’ Halloran had a few spare minutes and since the Fire department was next to a great bagel shop he locked the door to the office and went out the back door to get some fresh coffee and a bagel.

It was pouring. Yesterday had been one of those beautiful autumn days and that was why he was so glad he moved to Maine. He didn’t get a chance to see sky like that down in the city. There not so much, here beautiful.

He stood in line and ordered his bagel and then grabbed a cup of coffee with extra cream. He paid for everything, grabbed his bagged bagel and headed towards the door.

As he pushed open the door he bumped into a red head who was hell bent on getting in out of the rain. She looked up for a fraction of a second and that’s all it took. He saw her beautiful green eyes and for some strange reason for someone who apparently didn’t like to get wet she had no raincoat on. All she had on was a dark green corset to match her eyes. Under that was a white peasant blouse and popping out were the most beautiful breast, creamy in color with rain drops on them and one making its way down her cleavage. She had on skinny jeans and the jeans fit her like a glove.

“Excuse me but when you think you are finished ogling me would you mind terribly getting out of my way so I don’t melt out here…”

Cas was dumbfounded. Did she say she would melt? He stepped to the side and let her pass. He thought he heard a cat hiss but he didn’t see any around.

Emma walked past the gorgeous man who she realized was the new Fire Fighter that the town hired. She had seen the article in the paper about needing another full time man. He was one handsome man. She looked down at the floor and realized her familiar, Midnight was beside her. But since he was also a changeling he had made himself invisible. “Midnight!” she hissed. He looked up at her with one of his bored looks and flicked his tale at her and went to the back.

Emma looked up at the girl behind the counter who was looking at her with a funny look. “Sorry…” Emma walked up and trying to still her machine gun beating heart, so she could place her order. She felt her body all twitchy like and then her fingers started to feel like sparklers on the Forth or July. She stuffed her hands in her pocket and waited for her order. Better to quiet the sparks then to let people see her hands lighting up and going off like a Roman Candle.

“Miss your order comes to $9.45.”

Emma sent a silent prayer to the Goddess and pulled her hands out. Good no sparks.

She doled out the money and grabbed her bag, muttering her thanks. Hoping Midnight would follow her home. She lived only a few blocks but since it was raining she had driven her custom painted, orange Fiat down so as to not get too wet. Well that is until that hunky Fire fighter was ogling her and she was getting soaked while rain poured down .

Running into her house she smelt the aroma of bread dough rising. She had a few more bowls out, all with other ingredients for other things she had to bake today for different B&Bs who didn’t bake for themselves.

She set her bag down and heard the cat flap open and Midnight changed as he walked across the floor.

“You are really bad, you know that Midnight, don’t you?”

Midnight jumped up on the counter and Emma hissed at him.

“I don’t know why people hiss at cats… It doesn’t really scare us. Least of all, you Emma.”

Emma had to smile. She was really a softy when it came to Midnight. She had found him as a kitten and he had told her, he was a reincarnation of her family’s cat, Macbeth.

“You know, don’t you that you were sending sparks?”

Emma nodded as she poured some tea and then walked to the kitchen table and sat down with her little breakfast. “ I know. I had to stuff my hands in my pockets to put them out.”

“It’s a wonder you didn’t burn those tight jeans of yours.”

Emma chewed her bagel and drank her tea. “Why me? Why can’t I just be an ordinary witch, or not a witch at all?”

“You were the only child of your mother. It’s a great power, you just need to harness it.”

Emma chewed the remainder of her bagel and remembered what she had read about Eliza Brewster. Maybe if she could find her true love. The one who wouldn’t care she was a witch, or a fire starter.

Movie Monday Recap

You might notice the assortment of G and PG movies this week. Had a sick kiddo at home.
Pretty funny. Love the fish out of water story.
What's not to like about TLBT? They are just so cute.
You have to a real hardnose not to cry during this movie. I always cry every single time.
What's not to like about the Toy Story Saga.
I just love Violet. What a great heroine.
Has its funny moments. But yet another racing cartoon movie.
A crush worthy cartoon character. Sigh. There's something inherently wrong when animators make crush worthy heroes. They are CARTOONS!
One of the best monster movies ever. The chemistry between Kevin and Fred is priceless and hysterical.
Love. Dialogue is the best. Benedict as Kahn is perfect.
Depp's Sparrow is one of the best characters in cinema history
It was okay. Got a little long with the close-ups on Redford
Great Disney movie.

Q&A and #Giveaway: The Witchling Grows Up by Mary Moriarty

The Witchling Grows Up
Family Pendragon # 1
By: Mary Moriarty

Q&A with Mary Moriarty

What is the spark or initial idea that started this book?

It't funny, in the book before The Witchling Grows Up, it's title is "Redemption at Midnight". It has a vampire who has as her family, witches(because she is estranged from her family of Vampires), you would have to read that book to understand. So her family was witches from England. They had been friends for many years. It was relationship that for many of those two groups, made each group scratch their heads. So in "Redemption at Midnight" you see this family together, vampire and witches and they love one another. It's also the beginning of the two groups coming together in more ways than one and would break the ground for The Witchling Grows Up.

I knew there would be a next book after Redemption but wasn't sure what until almost the very end. A vampire named Justice shows up. He has done nothing but protect mankind and been at war. He lost his wife back about 6000 years ago and since then had been celibate . His former King of their kind made the comment that Justice needed a mate. Justice says "no.". Then that night, as he stood in the light of a full moon, he sees for the first time the Witchling, that the Goddess was going to give him. He falls and falls hard. The Goddess promises this will be his mate, bringing together the first of many unions of the two sets of immortals. The only thing is, he will have to get past her dragon that has been with her since her birth.

The favorite part of writing this book...

Research about Glastonbury. Reading more about Tea Reading. I love tea, I drink it all day long. I start off with masala tea that I was taught to make by my Indian friend. Then later in the day I get my tea ball out and get my favorite loose tea and makes pots of tea. I go out for tea dates with my sons and I do read my own tea leaves. I have books on it because of The Witchling Grows Up, but this is something I was exposed to at a very young age.
My favorite Line.
I actually have many but will keep it to one.

The first is in the beginning of the book when Tan the dragon looks down on his new witch that he has been waiting for, he says "It is good you called me. She is mine and I am hers, she is the one foretold who will bring the creatures together."

What movie or TV show is most like my book?
I would say maybe Practical Magic in it has a family of witches. For me who grew up as an only child and raised by my father family is very important to me. That's why I had seven children.
If my book was made into a movie and I could design the movie poster... Mmmm

"With Power and Magic comes a price... is Dylan prepared to pay that price?"

Dylan Pendragon is not what she appears to be. She appears to be a twenty something, hippy, new-age follower… When in fact she is a ninety-year-old, witchling from one of the oldest families connected with witchcraft.

She has yet to get any powers so to speak. But she is destined to be the most powerful witch of them all…

And she is a virgin.

Justice is a seven thousand years old Vampire. He is the oldest friend to his former king of their kind, Cormac O’ Heachthanna. There are three things that vampires love. Blood, fighting and sex and not necessarily in that order. Justice lost his wife about six thousand years ago, so he has devoted his life to keeping mankind safe… and he has had no sex in that many years.

The Dark One has one thing on his mind. Capture Dylan Pendragon and take what he thinks is his… her virginity and her power which will blossom like a rose once she is taken. He will do anything to get her and that power or die trying.

In the course of one night under a full moon two become connected and set into motion events that can’t be stopped that will ultimately bring victory for some or one and the rest will be cast into the underworld for eternity and beyond.

Can Justice show Dylan he wants to protect her without touching her? Will he listen to his heart where love that has been dormant for so long, and is waiting to be released?

Will Dylan allow Justice to protect her so she can figure out how to get her powers and be strong enough to fight the Dark One? Or will she fall and be the sacrifice that the Dark One intends her to be.

Early 1920s, London, Belgrave Square

Rose looked up into her Uncle’s face. She sat in bed, all ruffles and lace. A maid had just left to get her a pot of tea. Her Aunts and cousins all had left the room when William Pendragon had arrived from the continent.

“So Uncle Will what do you think of her? Isn’t she beautiful?”

Will looked down at the wee baby at his niece’s breast. It was funny, she was hundreds of years old but didn’t look a day over twenty. Now finally she had had a baby, but out of wedlock. Was that to be the way the women of his family conducted themselves?

He reached down and touched the sleeping baby’s face. “She is truly beautiful. She has that little mark, just like my beloved sister, on her chin. It looks like a flame… but no one would ever know… it would look more like a strangely shaped strawberry to mortals.”

Rose smiled. Did grandmother ever know from that mark, that would be the way she went out of this world, by fire?”

Will shook her head. “She was powerful but didn’t have the gift of second sight” He sat down on his niece’s bed, his ward of all these years. They had settled in London, had blended with all the other aristocrats. Will had made sure of that. They had rode out all the turbulence of the years unscathed. His fortunes rose and with that property being bought. He bought the two homes side by side on Belgrave Square soon after it was built. One was for him and Rose, the other for the women of his family. He had bought up a great deal of land in Cornwall and Glastonbury. Now with the new babe, he would be giving that baby a gift.

“What of the father, Rose?”

Rose kissed the baby’s forehead and smiled. “What of the baby’s father? I don’t give a fig about convention and you never have either.

“What name will you give her? Her father’s?”

Rose shook her head. “No, she will be Dylan Pendragon. She should carry on the family’s ancient name.”

William sat down. He felt old all of a sudden. He let his finger touch the babe’s silky hair. Why had he never settled? He knew because he had spent his life on revenge all these years… the sun went behind a cloud and cast a shadow over the baby. He heard Rose start to chant. Looking up he saw her eyes closed as she recited an ancient protection spell. Listening to the words he knew he would never settle. His job would be protecting the women of his family… forever.

Reaching for the babe after Rose was done. He took the baby up in his arms. Like all the females of his family she already had those bewitching eyes. Holding her up, he said his own blessing. He spoke in the Gaelic more times than not and this would be her mother tongue. “efallai y byddwch yn yr un foretold i ddod â'r holl greaduriaid at ei gilydd.”

Rose watched her uncle bless her baby. She watched as stardust fell from the ceiling and then a whirlwind came and in it a dragon.

It circled and flapped it wings, blew out fire and smoke then landed on the chair next to Rose and the baby.

William and Rose watched the beast. Though no larger than a small lap dog or crow it sounded like a lion with it purr.

Lord, why did you call me out of my sleep?

William smiled. “Because you have a job to do, one that will last for a millennium or more.”

The dragon nodded its head. I have been waiting, where is my charge?

William put the baby closer to the dragon.

The dragon looked down on the baby from his perch. Ah, the newest Pendragon. I have waited for such a time as this. She will be mine until such time her protector comes…

William shook his head. “Even then you will never leave her. Only with you will she have the power she needs. We still must watch for the darkness and never allow it to overtake.”

The dragon nodded his head. He sat looking at the babe. Then with quick movement flew to William’s arm. Getting a closer look he let his wing touch the babe. The baby sighed in her sleep and it looked like she was smiling.

The dragon looked up to William and then at Rose. It is good you called me… she is mine and I am hers, she is the one foretold who will bring all creatures together.
