Whenever I start a new book, it's usually the opening scene that comes to me first. In this case, it's two brothers who meet again when Brody comes home after eight long years. The spark for the book came from one question - What if a guy got two women pregnant, left town in disgrace, and came home to make amends with the woman he loves and discovered he had two daughters?
