What if someone you loved was in jail for a crime he didn’t commit and you knew who the real killer was but no one would listen? That was the question that sparked Silent Night, and as I followed the heroine to a small town in Tennessee to track her suspected killer, I knew I had to keep writing until I found out whether she was right. What was your favorite part of writing this book? Getting into the head of a killer. What makes them tick? Why do they do what they do? It’s a dark place to go, but an extremely interesting place to be. What is your favorite line from your book? I’m not sure there’s a favorite line for this story, but there’s a brief bit when Miranda comes face to face with the man she thinks is a killer that I always liked.
