Rereading Books

Rereading books. Maybe not all of us reread books, but I know a lot of you do. Sometimes you just want something familiar. Reimmerse yourself in the world or the characters. Here are my favorite books to reread:

Family Man and Soft Focus by Jayne Ann Krentz
Sweet Baby by Sharon Sala
Shadow Game by Christine Feehan

When I was heavy into Nora Roberts I reread Sanctuary, Montana Sky, and Born of Ice over and over.

I can remember rereading Battlecry Forever by Joanna Campbell,  the Hart & Soul Series by Jahnna N Malcolm, the Secret of the Unicorn Queen series, and of course many Nancy Drew Files over and over when I was a teenager.

New Year's Blog Hop

I always find the beginning of a new year kinda funny. As a mom, I tend to focus more on September as being the start of a new year. That's when our new schedule grabs hold and the rest of my year is mapped out. But you can't help but look over the previous calendar year when New Years comes along. Not with everyone talking about it. I don't do resolutions. Mostly because I don't keep them. Goals are better for me, but even with goals I tend to have this anti-goal thing going inside me. I start to feel constrained and start doing whatever I can to not achieve the goal. Yet, I was very goal oriented in my youth. I competed heavily in horses in my teens and I loved TRAINING toward a show (the goal being to do well at the show). Wasn't thrilled with the actual showing, but I thrived under the training structure. It's more about the journey for me. I don't tend to think of my heroes as being heartbreakers , but Marco Santo from Mafia Secret probably falls under that cate gory.
