Mafia Secret is a romantic suspense novel about a cheerleading coach who is thrust into the dangerous world of organized crime when she learns she’s the illegitimate daughter of a mafia king pin.

All minor. The palms of her hands were skinned a little, and the stinging on her back told her she’d scraped it. Her mind raced. The car had aimed for her.

“She’s crazy,” Lessa mumbled under her breath. She couldn’t believe someone would actually try to kill her because that person didn’t make a pro cheerleading team.

New Year's Blog Hop

I always find the beginning of a new year kinda funny. As a mom, I tend to focus more on September as being the start of a new year. That's when our new schedule grabs hold and the rest of my year is mapped out. But you can't help but look over the previous calendar year when New Years comes along. Not with everyone talking about it. I don't do resolutions. Mostly because I don't keep them. Goals are better for me, but even with goals I tend to have this anti-goal thing going inside me. I start to feel constrained and start doing whatever I can to not achieve the goal. Yet, I was very goal oriented in my youth. I competed heavily in horses in my teens and I loved TRAINING toward a show (the goal being to do well at the show).
